Hi! Thanks for choosing Scoop Za Poop for your dog waste management needs. Please become familiar with our terms of service:
Agreement to Terms
By initiating service with Scoop Za Poop, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service, including our billing practices and property access requirements.
Payment/Billing Details
Estimates
Our estimates are accurate for most customers but they are estimates only. We may need to adjust price when we first see the property. Price varies based on the number of dogs, size of yard and frequency of service and any special circumstances. We will communicate with you prior to work starting if there is a difference in pricing from the estimate to your yard. If you have any questions, please contact us.
How do I pay?
We process payments through our secure client portal. If you did not onboard yourself using the instant quote button on our website, we will create an account for you after you speak with a Scoop Za Poop representative. Login details will be sent to your email.
Inside of your portal account, you will have access to copies of all paid invoices, records of past cleanups, and you can link your credit/debit card into the secure platform. After you link your card, we will generate and pay invoices on your behalf and send you receipts.
Note:
- Your card must be linked before your first service. If it is not, we will attempt to contact you and reschedule if necessary.
- Rescheduling may lead to delays depending on our availability.
- For assistance linking your card, contact us at 716-647-6866.
Do you bill monthly?
Yes, we bill monthly, and prepayment is required. Billing occurs on the 1st of each month for services to be rendered that month.
Payments for initial or one-time cleanups are due upon completion of the job.
For recurring clients, your first invoice will include:
The cost of the initial cleanup.
A prorated amount for the remainder of the month based on your chosen schedule.
Example:
Josh signed up for weekly services starting Tuesday, 3/18/2025, at $80/month. The initial cleanup cost is $100. On 3/18/2025, Josh will be billed:
- Initial Cleanup: $100
- Remainder of March Cleanups (3/25): $20
- Total Charged: $120
Subsequent invoices will be billed on the 1st of each month:
- 4/1/2025: $80
- 5/1/2025: $80
- 6/1/2025: $80
Important Policies:
Services will be suspended if payment is not received until payment is processed. A resumption fee may apply due to the increased workload during the next cleanup. Services billed for the month are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel, we are more than happy to clean for the remainder of the month for you if needed.
Yard Access and Service Area Conditions
Clients must provide access to the yard for our staff to perform the service. If gates are locked, we will attempt to contact you through knocking on the door and calling you provided number. If we are unable to reach you to clean then we will have to skip your house and come back the following service day. You will still be charged and we will provide double duty on the next service day. Please note that access through homes is not permitted. A gate, garage, or similar access point must be available.
To ensure effective cleaning, we need clear visibility of the service area. Areas obscured by overgrowth, debris, or obstacles may not be fully serviced although we will attempt to clean as much as we can. If an area is deemed to be unsafe to work, we will need to skip the unsafe area and work around it. You’ll be notified if we encounter any conditions that prevent proper cleaning.
You do not have to be home for us to clean your yard as long as we have access to your yard.
Pet Safety
For the safety of your pets and our team, please ensure pets are away from the service area during visits. We love pets but even the best dog may feel uncomfortable with someone in ‘their area’ so we ask to keep your pets away while working. We would love to meet them so they can become comfortable with us being there. If a dog shows any sign of aggression, we will ask that you keep them inside when we are servicing your yard and you will be notified if anything has happened.
We disinfect our equipment and bottom of shoes after each cleanup with an kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs.
We will provide you a gate photo, if applicable, when we are done servicing your yard to give you piece of mind that your yard has been cleaned and the gate is locked.
If we are cleaning and notice your dogs waste is diarrhea or waste indicating health concerns then we will notify you letting you know so you can get proper vet care, if needed.
Waste Removal Policy
We do not take the waste with us. With local regulations, we double bag the waste and will place it in your garbage bin. If your garbage bin is not accessible then we will leave the waste double bagged neatly next to the gate or side of house.
Snow and Severe Weather Policy
Scoop Za Poop offers year-round service, including winter. Dogs always need to go so we will be there to clean.
If hazardous weather (snow storms, travel bans/advisories, severe weather, etc.) or temperatures pose a risk, we will reschedule or cancel your service for that week.
While we can still scoop with snow, if snow accumulations are measurable the day before or on your scheduled service, rescheduling will likely be necessary.
The regular fee will apply, as we will do ‘double dooty’ on your next service day.
We will alert you to any rescheduling or cancelling due to weather related events, for short lived severe weather events like a thunderstorm passing through, we will try to have no disruptions to service with the exception of the time during the thunderstorm. The safety of our team is a top priority.
Staff Illness & Service Delays
If our technician is ill and cannot perform the service, we will attempt to find a replacement or reschedule within a few days. If rescheduling is not possible, the service will be postponed to the next service day. The regular fee will still apply as we will provide ‘double dooty’ on the following service day.
Service Suspension
A 24-hour notice is required to let us know so we can make the appropriate adjustments. You may also change your service at any point on the client portal in your account.
Liability
Scoop Za Poop is not liable for any property damage or loss related to our services. We take great care to secure your property after each visit and provide locked gate photos after services have been completed so you have piece of mind the area is secured.
Communication & Scheduling
While we are unable to provide an exact time for your scheduled service, we will send a text message about 30-60 minutes in advance of our arrival. If you are at the beginning of the route, you’ll receive a 15-30 minute heads-up. Service days remain consistent unless communicated otherwise.
Text Messages & Notifications
US and Canadian federal regulations require that organizations obtain informed consent from recipients before sending text (SMS) messages.
With your consent, Scoop Za Poop would like to send text (SMS) messages to the mobile number you have provided to us. By providing your informed consent where indicated, you acknowledge that you agree to participate in our text (SMS) messaging service. You may withdraw from text messages at any time by replying with STOP.
Our use of text (SMS) messaging service is designed to provide you with helpful information, reminders, and notifications via text messages sent to your mobile phone. We may use text (SMS) messages to communicate with you for a variety of purposes, including:
– announcements and reminders of upcoming events
– reminders about upcoming visits to provide service as requested
– communication regarding your request for service
Holiday Schedule
Great question! If your service day falls on a major holiday, we will skip that week’s cleanup and perform ‘double dooty’ the following week. You will still be charged due to 2 weeks of accumulated poo in the yard.
